Redesign
Three mobile designs made by Ilse de Cock while working for New Story. The designs are for 113 Zelfmoord preventie app. The first design shows a warning and an open menu that sticks to the bottom. The menu has two buttons, one for calling and the other for chatting. The second design shows a page on which there are pre-designed cards that you can send to someone (digitally). The card in view says: Ik zie dat je het moeilijk hebt, hoe kan ik helpen? and has an illustration on it. The third page shows the logo and the name of the app.

An app that saves lives.

The company

113 is a suicide prevention hotline that you can call free of charge when in need.  The 113 Vraag Maar app, helps people that know someone that is suicidal. It answers frequent asked questions, helps to practise how to talk about suicide and how to help the person in need.

Goal

113 came to New Story requesting a brand make-over. The old style was outdated and needed a newer, fresher and more meaningfull approach.

Design explained

For the 113 app the use of color on the right place is very important. Every color is ment to be used to express certain feelings. Red may only be used to encourage asking for help when hope is gone.

Yellow;
Hope and warmth
Soft red;
Modesty and vulnerability
Light green;
Rest and transparency
Green;
Life and energie
Red;
Urgent and activating
